As the rainbow flew over London, Trans-MISSION was proud to join the LGBT celebrations on

SATURDAY 3 JULY 2004

Yes, Saturday 3 July 2004 marked London's annual LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered) pride celebrations and to mark the occasion, Trans-MISSION was proud to offer a place for 190 transgendered folk, not just from London but from all over the UK (and the world!) and their friends to come and party.

What's more, the following day (4 July) is, of course, American Independence Day and together with a smattering of American girls in red, white and blue (check the pictures and see if you can spot them!), this girl on the right was extremely patriotic in her attire - where do people get those lovely costumes from (and the figures to go with them!)

Incidentally, people often ask us "I had my picture taken at Trans-MISSION, why isn't it on the web-site?" Well usually if someone's picture hasn't flattered them, they were blinking, or otherwise not looking their best, we don't show it. Normally around 70% of all the pictures taken on the night are shown.
